These are a pair of ordinary trainers made with iron wires bent to form the shape of a shoe. What distinguishes these iron wired shoes from the rest is that I tried to express in an artistic way the problems that modern people have as a whole, or psychologically.

With this work of art, which has the structure of a shoe but does not have the particular clothes that usually wrap the shoe, I tried to represent how people these days might look fancy and well-dressed on the outside, but have no hope inside. Some people might express the luxurious fashion shows and expensive clothing designs with the same criticism. However, fashion and arts for me is not just an issue of looking good, but a different expression of my inside passion and dreams.

Moreover, just like those iron wires can be bent easily, I expressed how some people’s feelings might be bent and hurt easily as well. Just like wearing those shoes, some people might be uncomfortable with hearing negative comments from others. On the contrary, with strong colors of red and black wires on the inside, I expressed how people should ignore those negative comments and move on to what they value truly.

Through this work of art, I have tried to express the goal and aim of mankind. Just like all humans have an aim or a goal, I attempted to express my way of pursuing a dream.

As you can see, all the trainers seem to be running or walking towards a particular direction. This tries to represent everyone around me going to different directions to pursue their dream. Moreover, the different colors of the shoe symbolize the variety of human kind.

The city and the river reflecting the city shows what goes around the world, the world still going on busily on its own regardless of how hard people try to step on their way to pursue their dream. This represents the harshness of the world, and alongside "time" that never waits.

Through these footprints, I wanted to express the challenges and experiences people face throughout their lives. The different colors and shapes of footprints show that some can be more influential than others. Despite of the background of each person, effort is what all depends.

As we are born, each individual are blessed by people. However, it is the background of each person’s footprints makes them unique and special. I like the word 'faithful.' The reason being is that within the word is embedded the secret of success. A person who is faithful does not fret no matter what the circumstances are and able to overcome the challenges. Faithful life would consequence in beautiful footprints.

Furthermore, I have a passion to follow footprints of brilliant fashion designers who I highly respect and admire. Like various colors of footprints, I want to live faithful life with full of experiences and leave the footprints of my life as an influential artist with my own colors.
